Bradbury on Screenwriting

In 1980, writer Ray Bradbury gave a lecture to a group of screenwriting students. In one of the most profound moments, Bradbury told students to read one poem, one essay, and one short story every night for the rest of their lives. Not for any professional reason. Not to get ahead. These ideas, he said, are "to have fun inside your head late at night when you're going to sleep, when the metaphors begin to happen."
